Here are some progress shots that Mona took all weekend. The whole Harris Family worked together and we were able to finish the project in a couple of days. I am not sure I would do it again but it sure does look nice.
The steps and border were done in a different type of rock. The steps were probably the hardest part of the whole patio. Kevin worked to cut and fit the rock to the steps. The hard work paid off, the steps look great! After the rocks were laid down and fit tightly together a Poly Sand was poured over the porch and into the cracks. Now the rocks are solid and not moving at all.
Also while we were in Dallas we celebrated Kevin's Birthday. He turned 52 this year but there was not a "2" candle in the house so we improvised. The only problem was that the double "1s" were backwards. Its the thought that counts right?
